Black Friday may be one of the biggest shopping days of the year, but customers have been able to kick-start their holiday shopping season on a day celebrating the uniqueness, charm, and economic impact that small businesses bring to communities nationwide. Taking place the Saturday following Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday was created to encourage consumers to support local, small businesses within their communities.
