It’s all here for the holidays, including spectacular holiday light displays! Seeing holiday lights and attending holiday tree lighting ceremonies are such festive traditions to kick-off the season. Holiday Lights at The District at Willow Bend
November 8 – January 5 from 6 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Don’t miss out on The District’s incredible animated Christmas tree. Get into the holiday spirit as you witness this one-of-a-kind synchronized Christmas tree with video and music. The official tree lighting is November 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Lights at Legacy
November 24 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
A Plano family tradition, Lights at Legacy offers a holiday movie screening at The Angelika Film Center, photos with Santa, a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas train ride, caricature artists, face painters, balloon artists, toy soldier stilt walkers, little drummer boys, a “rad hatter” station, performances from Cover Down and more! Complimentary food and drink samples from The Shops at Legacy retailers and restaurants will also be available. Arrive early and get an exclusive swag bag at The Shops at Legacy booth located in front of Mi Cocina. Admission is free!
Dickens in Downtown Plano
Friday, December 6 at 5 p.m.
Join us for Dickens, a free event nestled in the heart of the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District. It’s the traditional family holiday event of the year! With live entertainment, delicious food, a variety of attractions and a visit from Santa, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll see occasional strolling carolers in costume and the Interurban Railway Museum opens its doors for some Polar Express fun. Food vendors offer an assortment of tasty treats and many downtown businesses extend their hours and invite you to browse for the perfect holiday gift for everyone on your “nice” list. The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. in Haggard Park.
Deerfield Holiday Lights
December 1 – 30 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Drive through this famous Plano neighborhood in December for a spectacular holiday lights display. Deerfield is located between Preston Road and Coit Road. Enter from Legacy Drive, heading north on Colonnade or Archgate (noting one-way and restricted-turn signs along Old Pond Drive and Hallmark). Don’t forget to catch the famous dancing Santa’s!
