Get your appetite ready for North Texas’ largest annual culinary event celebrating their 25th year, DFW Restaurant Week! This event not only supports local restaurants, but also the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope at a time when they need it most. Each summer, diners explore a variety of cuisines with premier restaurants across the Metroplex offering prix-fixe menus benefiting local charity. Over the past 25 years, DFW Restaurant Week has successfully raised nearly $11 million in charitable donations. Participating restaurants offer a variety of prix-fixe menu dining options with approximately 20% of the cost of each meal donated to NTFB in the Dallas area or Lena Pope in the Tarrant area.
Plano has six restaurants participating in this year’s event which begins Aug. 8 and runs through Aug. 14 with many restaurants offering a Preview Weekend, Aug. 4-7, and/or are extending for extra weeks through Sept. 4.
