‘Neath the Wreath Ladies Night Out Preview Party

We are thrilled to announce the return of ‘Neath the Wreath to Plano Event Center! Want to be the first to shop this beloved event? Enjoy the wildly popular Ladies Night Out preview party, Wednesday, November 6. This private shopping event and silent auction will be one to remember with a buffet dinner, specialty cocktails, and early access to our fabulous ‘Neath the Wreath merchants. 

‘Neath the Wreath Holiday Gift Market

November 7-10
As the largest fundraiser for the Junior League of Collin County, the ‘Neath the Wreath Holiday Gift Market has raised over $4.7 million over the last 29 years to give back to the local community by funding educational and community projects and programs that benefit families throughout Collin County. The four-day holiday gift market hosts almost 10,000 shoppers and over 125 merchants each year from throughout Texas and beyond. Our market features the best in unique holiday and home décor, ladies clothing, accessories, gifts, jewelry, children’s items, gourmet food, and more. We strive to have something for everyone.

Hoe Hoe Holladayz: An Art Centre Theatre Production

November 8-9
This burlesque show will take you through the complete 12 month calendar with some of your favorite songs in a 2 hour show. Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. 

Snowflake Bazaar

November 16-17
Plano West Senior High School’s Snowflake Bazaar promises to be a winter wonderland, bustling with vendors offering unique gifts, crafts, and delicious treats. Whether you’re searching for the perfect holiday present or simply want to indulge in some retail therapy, the Snowflake Bazaar has something for everyone. Aside from shopping, there will be live entertainment, including the band members playing holiday tunes.

Winter Wonderland Market at Overture Plano

November 16
Step into a world of holiday magic at Overture Plano’s Winter Wonderland Market! This festive event brings together the creativity and craftsmanship of their residents, offering a unique shopping experience filled with one-of-a-kind treasures. Browse through a delightful selection of handmade crafts, holiday decorations, artisanal goods, and seasonal treats, all crafted with love by members of their community.

Lights at Legacy

November 24
Enjoy complimentary train rides, balloon artists, toy soldier stilt walkers, little drummer boys, live entertainment and more! Complimentary food and drink samples from The Shops at Legacy retailers and restaurants will also be available. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for only $30, with 50% of the proceeds benefiting My Possibilities; located off Bishop Road, near Truluck’s. First come, first serve basis.

Lights on the Farm

November 22 – December 28 (select days & times)
Get ready to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit at the 4th annual Lights on the Farm! With over 1 million dazzling lights and unique holiday elements, this is an experience you won’t want to miss. Take a quarter mile stroll through the beautiful Heritage Farmstead Museum and capture the perfect holiday photo. Meet Santa Claus, indulge in delicious s’mores, hot cocoa, donuts, popcorn and more while enjoying the festive holiday music. Christmas Bazaar

November 23
Every year, the Cardinal Women’s Auxiliary (CWA) hosts the Christmas Bazaar at John Paul II High School. This event raises funds to support JPII and their students. Here you will find holiday decor, gifts, jewelry, women’s clothing, food, kid’s toys & clothing, beauty products, home decor, and so much more.

Plano Holiday Market

November 23-24
Plano Holiday Market at Carpenter Park Recreation Center is a fun and free event that showcases handmade holiday gifts. Exhibitors have jewelry, handmade wood items, candles and soaps. There will also be a wonderful selection of tamales, brownies, cupcakes, jams, nuts and dips or gifts for holiday parties. In addition, Collin County seniors will stock the Hip Hip for Gray booth with a variety of crafts including quilts, baby items, ornaments, and more!

Crayola Experience Colorful Christmas

November 23-January 5
Deck the halls with tons of COLOR! Colorful Christmas is back at Crayola Experience. Make handmade gifts from the heart, complete a seasonal scavenger hunt and more! It’s a holiday hullabaloo with SNOW much to do!

Chamberlain Ballet Presents The Nutcracker

November 29-December 1
Chamberlain Ballet began staging The Nutcracker in 1989. Through out the years, this holiday tradition has grown to become a favorite for thousands of North Texas families. Join Chamberlain Ballet this Thanksgiving Weekend for our new presentation of The Nutcracker. New choreography and exciting changed throughout the performance.

Festive Legends: Holidays Around the World

December 1
Jumpstart your holiday season with the Plano Symphony strings! Dancers from Pure Movement Dance in Allen will help the PSO travel around the world in 45-minutes of holiday carols, traditions, dances, and fun! This interactive program invites kids to be part of the action on stage and culminates in a Christmas sing-a-long for the whole family. Arrive early to earn a Plano Symphony fun patch and try out instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo in the lobby one hour prior to the concert.

Deerfield Holiday Lights

December 1-30
The spectacular Deerfield Holiday Lights display runs December 1-30 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays and 7 p.m.-11 p.m. on weekends. This is no ordinary neighborhood with holiday lights! People come from all over north Texas to see the dancing Santa’s, millions of twinkling lights, and larger than life displays. Deerfield Holiday Lights brings on the ultimate holiday cheer!

Fa La La La Follies

December 4-6
The holiday season is here and what better way to get into the holiday spirit than watching the Spectacular Follies as they sing and dance to your favorite holiday tunes! You’ll hear standards that you know and love – they’ll make you want to sing along! Maybe you’ll hear some songs that are new to you. You’ll be tapping your toes along with Class Act Tap Company and Dallas Tap Dazzlers. Performing since 2008, the Spectacular Follies is again gearing up for opening night and this year’s show is chock-full of Ziegfeld-style glamour, talent and some big-time performers – all 55 or older.

The Gift of Christmas

December 6-15 (dates & times vary)
The Gift of Christmas is a Prestonwood tradition and has become one of the highlights of the Christmas season, with thousands of guests attending every year. This visually stunning multimedia event is complete with special effects, a nearly 1,000-member cast and choir, live orchestra, flying angels and much more. The program will keep you fully engaged for a powerful 100 minutes, the perfect length for every family member to enjoy. It is complete with all your Christmas favorites, including the beautiful Living Nativity. Featuring camels and kings, flying angels and eye-popping virtual scenery, the Christmas story comes to life in a breathtaking way. A bold lighting and scenic design gives a unique look to inspire and engage the audience, enhancing the message of The Greatest Story Ever Told! The scenic pieces, costumes and choreography are highlighted by a brilliant, original musical score, arranged and orchestrated just for Prestonwood and this special event.

Dickens in Downtown Plano

December 7
Kick off the season with Dickens, a FREE annual event in the heart of the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District from 4pm – 9pm. Bring the whole family for Plano’s annual celebration with a tree lighting festival with vendors, a snow globe, and activities for the whole family. The downtown businesses will stay open late so guests can enjoy food and shopping. The event is located in Haggard Park, McCall Plaza and on a limited section of 15th Street in Downtown Plano. Free parking is available at the Plano Municipal Center (1520 K Avenue) and public lots off 14th Street.

‘Tis the Season

December 10
‘Tis the Season will celebrate the holiday season with great music, audience sing-a-longs, and a visit from Santa Claus. Guest performers include Plano Community Band and Plano Senior High School Varsity Choir.

Plano Holiday Parade

December 14
Save the date for the 2024 Plano Holiday Parade! The parade will return to Downtown Plano on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 beginning at 2 pm. The Plano Holiday Parade is organized by the Rotary Clubs of Plano, and we’re looking forward to spreading festive holiday cheer to all our neighbors and visitors in Plano!

Breakfast with Santa at Carpenter Park Rec Center

December 14
Santa is making a special trip to Carpenter Park Recreation Center to eat breakfast with you and your family. Enjoy breakfast treats, holiday crafts, and a visit from Santa.

A Christmas Carol, The Musical

December 20-22
Courtyard Theater Series kicks off the new season with A Christmas Carol, the Musical. A Christmas Carol, the Musical is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story by Broadway heavy hitters, Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island). Ebenezer Scrooge believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated “Bah! Humbug!” Scrooge is forced to face his selfish ways on Christmas Eve when three ghosts visit to lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Performed by the award-winning REP Company.

Home for the Holidays

December 22
The seasonal favorite “Home for the Holidays” concert features holiday favorites for orchestra and chorus, the popular audience sing-along, visitors from the North Pole, and more! Joining the PSO will be the Plano West Chorale. The award-winning Plano West Chorale is devoted to cultivating the art of choral music in the lives of its students and in the broader community; teaching techniques of musical expression; and providing a sequential developmental music curriculum that allows each student an opportunity to build musical skills and understanding through a wide variety of quality musical experiences.

Feast of Seven Fishes Wine Dinner

December 24
Join Urban Seafood Company for a Feast of Seven Fishes Wine Dinner on Sunday, December 24th at 5:30pm. Seven courses + seven wines for $150 per person. Seating begins at 5:30pm for dinner at 6pm. Tickets are required.
