The Quilters Guild of Plano proudly presents one of the biggest and best 2-day quilt shows in Texas featuring hundreds of judged quilts, vendors, skill sessions & more. August 9-10, 2024.
The Quilters Guild of Plano has sponsored their prestigious quilt show for over 30 years and are excited to invite you to this year’s event Quilt Plano 2024 will highlight over 300 judged quilts and 45+ vendors from across Texas showcasing fabrics, sewing machines, notions and other quilt-related items for purchase.
In addition to viewing fabulous quilts and shopping opportunities, attendees will enjoy a variety of special exhibits, free skill demonstrations, hourly door prizes, mini quilt auction, and so much more. The guild’s stunning charity raffle quilt, “Timeless Starburst,” will be on display showcasing its brilliant colors!
In conjunction with the Quilt Show, the Quilters Guild of Plano is also offering a two-day “Introduction to Quilt Judging Seminar” to help quilters learn what makes a winning quilt and will also provide details on how to become a certified guilt judge. The Quilters Guild of Plano was formed in 1982, incorporated in 1989 and received tax-exempt status as an educational organization. Currently, membership includes over 300 members. The Quilters Guild of Plano meets the second Thursday evening of each month. Check the website, qgplano.org, for specifics for each meeting.
Admission to the show is only $12; free admission for children 12 and under.
